IPCMV Crew Officially Begin Tuesday!

The IPCMV Invasive Plant Crew officially begins this upcoming Tuesday, May 8. We are pleased to have returning to the crew Karen Short and Jeremy McClure. The third crew person will be a rotation between a summer student, our Invasive Plant Specialist Amy Hendel and Jen and Tasha (Coordinators) depending on the project. Jen will be regularly working with the crew as she oversees the contracts.

We have a very busy field season planned and are excited to work with returning and new partners. Due to demand and an early Hogweed season, Karen has been hard at work for the past 3 weeks already.

Treatments this year will again focus mainly on Knotweed and Giant Hogweed. Stay tuned for more information about our 2012 field season.

For more information on our crew's activities, contact Jennifer Grenz, Coordinator.
